Our Story

NUST Trust Fund: Creating a Future Through Education

In June 2012, the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) established the NUST Trust Fund (NTF) at the university's main campus.

NTF is an independent Trust constituted under a Trust Deed dated June 1, 2012, and is a registered Trust under the Trust Act 1882.

The Trust was established with a clear purpose: to create sustainable support for talented students who have the ability and ambition to pursue higher education but face financial challenges.

Toaha Qureshi MBE, Chairman and Trustee of the NUST Trust Fund UK, has been an integral part of the Trust's journey and its development into a charity registered in the United Kingdom.

The charity focuses on relieving poverty by raising funds for disadvantaged students in Pakistan who require support to complete higher education and achieve their aspirations.

The NUST Trust Fund UK was formally launched in 2022 by Toaha Qureshi MBE during a ceremony in London attended by senior NUST leadership and supporters.

Since then, fundraising activities and partnerships have continued to strengthen the connection between NUST and its international community.

The UK initiative also provides a convenient giving point and streamlined payment process for prospective donors, helping international supporters contribute to student endowment and other nation-building projects.
